About the bill estimator
This bill estimator tool is designed to help understand how different spending priorities may affect customer water bills. It provides an indication only of the possible size of water bill changes based on:

Final bills will depend on services South East Water proposes, the actual costs of delivering those services, and the prices approved by the Essential Services Commission. Your actual future bill may include other cost changes which are not included in this activity.

Note: Your estimated bill may be more even if you don't choose any increases. This is because your bill may also include an overall increase in costs for other services. It reflects the uncertainty in future costs, such as inflation, construction costs, and the level of investment required to meet future needs.

Let's get started
Step 1 -
Get a copy of your current water bill from South East Water. If you are unsure about your last water bill amount, please estimate the amount using this guide.

1-3 people Fairly low water use. This could mean you water a small garden and use your laundry regularly. $260
2-4 people

Step 2 - Enter the $ amount of your current quarterly water bill here.

This simulator does not predict your future water bill. It provides an indication of the possible size of bill changes based on the investment choices shown in this exercise and an average household bill. Actual water bills may differ. Final bills will depend on the services South East Water proposes, the actual costs of delivering those services, and the prices approved by the Essential Services Commission. The results shown in this exercise are illustrative only and are designed to help understand how different spending priorities may affect customer bills.
